What Are Powder Brows?
Powder brows is procedure for eyebrow enhancement in which the artist inserts PMU pigments into the top layers of the skin with a tattoo machine designed using the dotting technique, or pixelization. As a result, a powdery eyebrow effect is achieved.

What is Feathering?
“Eyebrow feathering imitates the appearance of real eyebrow hairs. “It is often referred to as ‘hair-strokes’. The imitation of tiny fine lines can be created either by a hand held tool with several tiny needles (microblading) or with a cosmetic tattoo machine with a single needle (nano brows).”

What is microblading
Microblading is a eyebrow tattooing technique that creates the illusion of fuller, more evenly shaped brows. A handheld tool with tiny needles is use to add pigment into the epidermis (the top layer of skin) of your natural eyebrows, shaping them to your desired look. Each session takes up to two hours.

Treatment Procedure:
- A full consultation & patch test 48 hours prior to treatment.
- The consultation is required to disclose all your medical history.
- If there are any concerns then a doctor’s note will be required.
- Faces clinic will do an in dept discussion about brow shape to be achieved and what will suit your facial structure and the best option for you colour wise.
- We will then measure and design a suitable eyebrow shape for you, taking into consideration your face/brow bone structure.
- This is one of the most important parts of the treatment as the mapping dictates the overall appearance.
- A numbing solution will be applied prior to treatment.
The whole treatment from consultation to the completion takes around 2-3hours, so it is essential that you make sure you have enough time for your appointment.
Post treatment care is vital to a successful outcome and you will be given very specific instructions on how to care for your eyebrows whilst they are healing.
A top up is required 4 weeks after initial appointment.
